Hampton Court is a famous spot along the River Thames with it's grand historic presence. It sits proudly peering over the trees observing a Thames paddle boat, which still works today. 

Charles spends a lot of his time sketching out compositions of each destination. His aim is to illustrate a breathing space from the fast pace of modern day life, a place where the viewer can drift away to a simple nostalgic moment.
