Teddington Lock Bridge is an iconic location along the River Thames. Built in the 1980’s, the bridge was funded by local businesses and residents. It’s a symbol of the strong local community. Teddington Lock is also a landmark on the navigational Thames as it’s the barrier to the tidal section of the River.  

Charles spends a lot of his time sketching out compositions of each destination. His aim is to illustrate a breathing space from the fast pace of modern day life, a place where the viewer can drift away to a simple nostalgic moment.
